- Our B2B Buy Now, Pay Later solution enables merchants to offer credit terms to their business customers instantly, resulting in a 40% average increase in revenue for integrated merchants.
- We are scaling rapidly across Western Europe, with a list of stellar clients and recently raised $40 million in Series B investment to support our mission of enabling 1 million businesses to access a better way to pay by 2025.
- Join us in our efforts, as we have already made good progress with 43,000 businesses regularly using Hokodo, but need your support to take us to the next level!
About the role
We’re offering the chance to really make a difference in the world of B2B e-commerce.
As a Solutions Engineer you will be responsible for driving our pre-sales function with new prospects and managing the technical integration of Hokodo with newly signed businesses. Your role is crucial to the long-term success of our customers with Hokodo as you help customers quickly realise the benefits of using Hokodo in their check-out.
You will guide customers through their setup and onboarding journey, working cross-functionally with our Sales, Engineering, Operations & Customer Success teams to provide the best customer experience.
Location - London
We would like you to work from our London office a couple of days per week, joining our team of dedicated professionals and making your mark on the world of B2B e-commerce.
What you’ll be doing - If you get excited by the following, this is the role for you.
- Partner with our Sales Team to Showcase the Platform: Help build and present engaging demonstrations of our platform to new prospects.
- Cross functional collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to make our integration process even better and more efficient.
- Technical Expertise at Your Service: Serve as a trusted technical advisor for our merchants during their integration with Hokodo, ensuring a seamless and high-quality integration. Provide updates on active onboardings and flag any issues, risks and dependencies.
- High quality delivery and optimisation: Work closely with the merchant and the different Hokodo teams to guarantee a high quality project delivery and optimise integrations. This level of collaboration and attention to detail will help build strong, lasting relationships with our merchants, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Input in to the Product and Engineering roadmap: the level of contact you have with our merchants will mean you have valuable feedback to support our product development.
- Document the merchants’ integrated solutions: API endpoints integrated, SDKs used, sales flows, customer journey, special requirements or setup.

- An experience as a Solutions Engineer for an API based product
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fast learner, able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills on technical and business-related subjects
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and manage stakeholders
Nice to haves
- Additional language such as French or German
- Programming languages like Python or JavaScript
- Experience managing integrations with Magento or Shopify plug-ins
