We are looking for an Enterprise Partnerships Manager to join our Strategic Projects & Partnerships team and help us source and execute strategic sales opportunities with Enterprise businesses
About Hokodo
We’re an international and diverse team of experienced finance, tech, and data science specialists, based in London and Paris whose goal is to modernise online B2B payments.
Our B2B Buy Now, Pay Later solution enables merchants to offer credit terms to their business customers instantly. Merchants integrated with us see a 40% average increase in revenue... and we’re only just getting started.
We already have a list of stellar clients and are scaling rapidly across Western Europe. We’ve also recently raised $40 million in Series B investment which will help us with our mission of enabling 1 million businesses to access a better way to pay by 2025. We’ve made good progress so far with 32,000 businesses already regularly using Hokodo, but we need your support to take us to the next level!
About the role
We’re offering the chance to really make a difference in the world of B2B e-commerce. Over the past few years we had the opportunity to support a number of merchants and marketplaces with our B2B BNPL solution. Within these customers, large corporations require unique, tailor made support and a strong engagement all along the sales cycle. In that context, we are looking for an Enterprise Partnerships Manager to join our Strategic Projects & Partnerships team and help us source and execute strategic sales opportunities with Enterprise businesses. We expect the new joiner to work closely with our partners - including two global banks and the leading marketplace infrastructure provider - to identify new opportunities and coordinate all the efforts to close and implement the deal.
Location: We would like you to work from our office in either London or Paris a couple of days per week, joining our team of dedicated professionals and making your mark on the world of B2B e-commerce.
What you’ll be doing
Work hand-in-hand with partners to execute the joint go-to-market strategy and originate Enterprise-type opportunities
Own the full Enterprise sales cycle from discovery to closing and pre-implementation, and lead Hokodo’s contribution to RfPs
Coordinate all the efforts to close and implement Enterprise deals, including organising and moderating workshops with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Risk, Credit, Ops,...)
Support Enterprise customers in their journey to offer a suitable B2B BNPL solution into their platform while protecting Hokodo’s tech, product and ops roadmap i.e. avoid major deviation and tailor made developments
Support the Director of Strategic Projects & Partnerships in building a target operating model with strategic bank partners and in developing Tier 1 partnerships
Build deals monitoring tools and provide visibility on Enterprise sales developments to Hokodo’s Leadership Team
Who we’re looking for
Strong project management skills and capacity to organise, monitor and coordinate multiple streams in parallel while understanding their interdependencies
High standard verbal and written communication skills to be able to write the various memos, presentations, contracts, and sales collaterals, to drive discussions and communicate with internal and external C-Suite executives
Great internal and external stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Experience dealing with enterprise businesses and ability to navigate and drive engagement through complex partner / client environments
Financial background or curiosity to understand sophisticated legal and financial operating models and eager to contribute to the development of our product and industry
Hands-on and outcome driven, rigorous with strong problem solving skills
Fluent in English and French
Nice to have:
Prior experience in Enterprise Sales or in complex, long sales cycles
Experience in B2B payment or trade finance
