We are looking for an enthusiastic People Operations Coordinator based in London to aid us in the successful onboarding and engagement of our colleagues.
We’re an international and diverse team of experienced finance, tech, and data science specialists, based in London and Paris whose goal is to modernise online B2B payments.
Our B2B Buy Now, Pay Later solution enables merchants to offer credit terms to their business customers instantly. Merchants integrated with us see a 40% average increase in revenue... and we’re only just getting started.
We already have a list of stellar clients and are scaling rapidly across Western Europe. We’ve also recently raised $40 million in Series B investment which will help us with our mission of enabling 1 million businesses to access a better way to pay by 2025. We’ve made good progress so far with 32,000 businesses already regularly using Hokodo, but we need your help to take us to the next level!
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic People operations coordinator to join our team in London. This role will be an opportunity to take on responsibilities as well as learn and grow your experience.
This role will be critical in supporting Hokodo to maintain the amazing culture we have created through this exciting period of growth, and beyond. Whilst the role is based in London there will be overlap with the Paris office and a need to support both teams will be required. Travelling to Paris and for Offsites to support when necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and owning key People initiatives in London and company wide
- Supporting the People team to implement country specific programmes to drive performance, engagement & wellbeing
- Delivering a great onboarding experience for all new joiners, conducting all required checks throughout (e.g. Right to Work)
- Act as a cultural ambassador - living and breathing our values and coaching others to do the same
- Answering ad hoc queries from employees on a daily basis
- Carrying out regular HR audit checks to ensure the maintenance of the integrity of our data. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in the HR System, Hi Bob
- Help maintain and develop our internal intranet
- Revitalising, automating and integrating the onboarding process for new Hokodians, from offer to their first day and beyond
- Aid organisation of company wide Offsite events
- Office management of the London office including but not limited to ordering of equipment, stationery, liaising with building management maintaining standards of our working environment
In light of these responsibilities, we’re looking for a candidate who brings:
- 2+ years experience in an administrative role
- Prior HR experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good technical skills with hardware and software
- Strong sense of duty for “doing the right thing”
- Willingness to learn
- Doesn’t fear change and at ease in a fast-paced environment
- You’re the planner in everyday life with an eye for attention to detail
- You are friendly and professional both in your internal and external communication
- You can show us you have a passion for improving or building processes
- Systems savvy: the role will work with a number of technical systems such as HiBob, TeamTailor, Slack as well as G-Suite
- A great teammate: we are a small, fast-growing global team, so we believe in standing together and collaborating as a team
